Jared Harris (David Robert Jones):

E’ uno degli attori di maggiore intensità della sua generazione e recentemente ha interpretato un gran numero di film, tra cui “Lady in the Water” di M. Night Shyamalan e la miniserie della BBC “To Ends of The Earth”. Harris è apparso per la prima volta sullo schermo nel 1989 con “The Rachel Papers”, che ha segnato l’esordio nella regia del fratello maggiore Damian. Harris ha raccolto critiche molto positive per i personaggi che ha interpretato, tra cui Enrico VIII in una produzione della BBC2 di “The Other Boleyn Girl”. Salon.com ha detto Harris ti colpisce al cuore, riferendosi al suo ritratto di John Lennon in “Two of Us” di Michael Lindsay-Hogg, e Anita Gates del The New York Times ha scritto Jared Harris sta diventando uno degli attori più affascinanti, riferendosi alla sua performance in “B.Monkey-Una donna da salvare” di Michael Radford, con Asia Argento. Figlio del famoso attore irlandese Richard Harris e della sua prima moglie, Elizabeth Rees-Williams, è nato a Londra, si è laureato alla Duke University in letteratura e drammaturgia e poi è diventato membro della Royal Shakespeare Company. Ha lavorato con alcune delle più famose compagnie teatrali di New York, come il New York Shakespeare Festival, il New Group, la New Jersey Shakespeare Company, il Vineyard Theater e il Manhattan Theater Club. Il 16 luglio del 2005 Harris ha sposato Emilia Fox, figlia dell’attore Edward Fox e di Joanna David, da cui ha divorziato nel gennaio 2009.

Ha fatto anche alcune comparse nella prima stagione de “I Soprano”. Ha recitato anche al cinema, in “Lonely Hearts”, con John Travolta, nel 2006 e in “W.” di Oliver Stone nel 2008.
