Glyphs

Glyphs are of mysterious images that appear in the course of the episodes, before each commercial break. Nine: the apple, butterfly, flower, frog, hand on horn, the leaf, the seahorse and smoke. These symbols are next to a yellow dot, which can take different positions. During the first season, Robert Sanchez has rightly suggested that each of the images shown correspond to a letter. This letter would be determined from the image shown (one of the nine glyphs), on its orientation and the position of the dot bright yellow. These are the exact matches:
