In his weekly column, Kristin has confirmed that Joshua Jackson will not appear either in the season premiere, nor in the odd numbered episodes at least one half of the season. The odd episodes will be devoted to Olivia and her adventures in the alternate reality, and because Peter is the only one not to have a duplicate in that universe, Joshua is forced to remain on the bench for a few episodes. But do not despair! Jackson himself has revealed the truth about Olivia is revealed halfway through the season, and then "our" story and the alternative return intertwined. Who knows, maybe in your spare time Joshua Jackson did not take the opportunity to make a detour on the set of "The Vampire Diaries" ...
