SciFiNow interviewed JJ Abrams, who has spent even a few words for Fringe. To read what he said of our favorite show, click on
Would you like to direct an episode of Fringe?
Yes, I would like. This was before I jump out Undercovers, but that did not diminish my desire. I never had the opportunity to work with Josh [Jackson], Anna [Torv] and John [Noble], and be a part of, so I'd still do it. It's not something I'm completely excluded.
Have an idea of where you want to bring the show?
Oh, yes. We had some really good matches in the initial stage, to talk about where you would direct the story, but no matter how they speak, when you're 40-something episode of a series, you are what divendo. It has evolved a lot, but it does each series.
What is unexpected success this season?
There were certain stories, especially that of Walter and Peter, and some things with Olivia, who had the intention to pull over for long, but it popped up before. And, there are other things we talked about, as his stepfather, who have returned. There are a lot of opportunities where we headed into this season, and I'm optimistic about it. I feel like we still have a long way to go, but the key word is development. The show has found a leisurely pace to see, and I am proud of all those involved in it.
You are aware that people are having problems to become attached to the character of Olivia?
Yes, It 's always been a part of this. His character is obviously someone who lives in his strange world with these characters and situations, and she's a little 'hard to be warm and tender in this role. So its about her a certain vulnerability and uncertainty in his life, and where it comes from and where you live.
