According to Noble, Walter is a kind of King Lear's television. She has these extreme moments, goes mad with rage at moments of incredible tenderness. A moment before it is totally crazy, a second later has moments of incredible clarity. According to Noble this aspect is a bit 'in all people, but Walter barriers are lower than those of normal people. Noble says that for him this character is a wonderful opportunity, because it offers him the opportunity to play a man who embodies at least ten characters. The series has offered a way to explore the nature of a true genius, one of those souls who have in them something cosmic, but are also full of obsessions that separate them from life. Noble has conducted research that led to the conclusion that genes are not anti-social, but they simply do not have social skills. The actor has also studied the persons subject to a massive use of drugs, the structure of mental health centers and long-term effects of ECT, then used this knowledge to create the character of Walter. Noble works closely with authors to create his alter ego telefilmico. During a trip to Mexico with his wife, he saw an elderly couple dancing the samba with such concentration and such carriage that looked back to being the beautiful nineteen. During the same trip he also saw a tango show and immediately sent an email to authors writing him that Walter would have had to dance the tango. They responded that it is a great idea, though not yet know when and how to use it. The actor (who plans to take some tango lessons during his next trip to Italy), says that dancing is a great access point to the character of Walter, which requires a lot of theatrical interpretations. The interaction with Joshua Jackson gave way to the two to create a single report, which is now the fulcrum of the show. The Jackson people standing on the street asking him to treat his father better, and one driver told Noble to recognize much in the character of Walter, because he too had gone through very difficult moments with his son.
